Teacher Training - PG&E Solar Schools Workshops
Through a grant from PG&E, the NEED Project provides curriculum and training that includes:
Training Workshops for educators from across the PG&E service area. PG&E Solar Schools Workshops are scheduled throughout the school year. In some cases, NEED will provide a workshop on a regularly scheduled inservice day or other professional development event. To request an inservice for your school district contact NEED at 800-875-5029.
About the Workshops…
The 2012 PG&E Solar Schools Workshops are activity packed providing the most up-to-date information on all aspects of energy, including the science of energy, sources of energy, consumption, electricity, efficiency, and environmental and economic impacts.
Workshop participants receive the instruction and materials to implement innovative hands-on energy units in their classrooms. NEED Leaders at the conference provide the individualized instruction and support participants need to develop classroom energy units and meet the needs of their students.
